German airline Condor returns to Israel almost 70 years after its first flight. Flights between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv will become regular starting August 1. German airline Condor is returning to Israel almost 70 years after its first flight. The company's first flight in history was exactly on the Frankfurt-Israel route. Already tomorrow, Saturday, August 1, the carrier will resume regular air service between Frankfurt (FRA) and Tel Aviv (TLV), and in the opposite direction. Frankfurt is the company's main operating hub, from which flights operate throughout Europe and on long-haul destinations, including the US and South American countries. For Israeli passengers, this opens additional travel opportunities. Condor was founded in 1955 and is considered one of Germany's oldest airlines. Over more than seven decades of operation, the carrier has built a network of over 70 routes. Previously, the company halted flights to Israel amid the outbreak of war, but after several postponements, it finally confirmed the resumption. As part of preparations, Condor appointed TAL Aviation as its exclusive sales representative in Israel, which will handle sales, marketing, and public relations, as well as develop cooperation with travel agencies and wholesale operators.
