The National Electricity Management Company Noga provided Minister of Energy Eli Cohen with an updated situation report regarding preparations for the expected peak demand. Noga emphasizes that preparations are complete and the company is continuously monitoring electricity consumption data. Meanwhile, the Minister of Energy held a situational assessment with the management of Noga, the Israel Electric Corporation, and other government companies. The system recalls that last summer, electricity consumption records in Israel were broken for four consecutive days, with consumption exceeding 17 gigawatts, but despite the high demand, no significant disruptions were recorded. Minister of Energy Eli Cohen stated: "The energy sector has functioned flawlessly in recent years and has proven resilience and strength. The citizens of Israel can rely on us, and we are working to ensure regular supply in any scenario."
