Willi-Food International Ltd., in coordination with the Food Control Service of the Central District of the Israeli Ministry of Health, announces an urgent market recall of 'Petit Beurre' cookies in 500g and 1kg packages. The decision follows an inspection prompted by a customer complaint, which revealed the presence of sesame not listed in the ingredients or allergen information on the packaging. The recall covers two packages from Turkish manufacturer Hazal Biskuvi Gida San. A.S., both with the same batch code 30:1 BDZ-3125 and expiry date 30.07.2027. The company and the Health Ministry warn of health risks, especially for individuals with sesame allergies, and are arranging for the removal of the batch from stores.
