Health Ministry Surprise Inspection at Assisted Living Facility in Center Leads to Closure Order

The Health Ministry conducted a surprise inspection at the 'Nof HaMoshavah' assisted living facility in Petah Tikva and issued a partial administrative closure order, prohibiting the admission of new patients. Deficiencies were found in medication inventory management, including a shortage of medications and a lack of emergency stock, as well as a malfunctioning lift for moving heavy patients. This is a recurring deficiency.

The Health Ministry conducted a surprise inspection today (Sunday) at the 'Nof HaMoshavah Assisted Living' facility in Petah Tikva, and as a result issued a partial administrative closure order, prohibiting the admission of new patients starting today. The inspection revealed deficiencies in medication inventory management, including a shortage of medications for residents and a lack of emergency stock, as well as a malfunctioning lift for moving heavy patients in the nursing department. This is a recurring deficiency that was also found in a previous inspection. The order will remain in effect until the deficiencies are rectified, and the patients residing in the facility will remain there, after the missing medications were completed with the ministry's intervention.
