Health Ministry Documents Extermination of 2,276 Families and Over 60,000 Orphans in Gaza
The Gaza Health Ministry has released new statistics on the war of extermination since October 2023: 2,276 families were completely wiped out (8,858 individuals), 2,348 families had only one survivor, and 60,737 children have lost one or both parents.
The Gaza Health Ministry announced on Thursday, July 30, 2026, new statistics documenting the scale of massacres targeting Palestinian families since the war began in October 2023 until July 2026. According to the ministry, 2,276 families were completely exterminated, totaling 8,858 individuals, and were erased from the civil registry. Additionally, 2,348 families suffered massacres with only one survivor each, totaling 8,340 martyrs. The number of families that experienced massacres with more than one survivor reached 4,903 families, totaling 13,607 victims. Regarding children, the total number of orphans is 60,737, of whom 52,095 lost their fathers, 5,929 lost their mothers, and 2,713 lost both parents. Source: Palestine Online.
