Health: July was the highest in the number of martyrs since the beginning of the year

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that July recorded the highest monthly toll of martyrs since the beginning of the year, with 152 martyrs. It clarified that the victims include 21 children, 14 women, and 4 elderly. It also pointed to the cumulative toll since the start of the genocide on October 8, 2023, rising to 73,349 martyrs and 174,162 injured.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that data from the Health Information Center showed a record rise in the number of victims during July, after recording 152 martyrs across various governorates, the largest monthly toll since the beginning of the year. In a press statement today, Saturday, the ministry said that official figures reveal the scale of targeting of civilians, with victims including 21 children, 14 women, and 4 elderly, reflecting the direct impact of the escalation on residential neighborhoods. Earlier, the ministry stated that since the ceasefire was declared on October 11, the toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 1,222 martyrs and 4,053 injuries, and field teams managed to recover 804 bodies. It also mentioned that the cumulative toll since the start of the genocide on October 8, 2023, has risen to 73,349 martyrs and 174,162 injured. This report comes amid continued Israeli shelling on Gaza and reflects escalating violence despite the ceasefire declaration.
