In a press statement today, Saturday, the ministry said that official figures reveal the scale of targeting of civilians, with victims including 21 children, 14 women, and 4 elderly, reflecting the direct impact of the escalation on residential neighborhoods. Earlier, the ministry stated that since the ceasefire was declared on October 11, the toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 1,222 martyrs and 4,053 injuries, and field teams managed to recover 804 bodies. It also mentioned that the cumulative toll since the start of the genocide on October 8, 2023, has risen to 73,349 martyrs and 174,162 injured. This report comes amid continued Israeli shelling on Gaza and reflects escalating violence despite the ceasefire declaration.
