Hamas: The occupation's escalation north of Jerusalem will not break the steadfastness of Jerusalemites
Hamas affirmed that the ongoing Israeli occupation's aggression against towns and camps north of occupied Jerusalem, foremost among them Qalandia camp, will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinians or deterring them from clinging to their land and holy sites. Political bureau member Haroun Nasser al-Din said that the military operations, arrests, and house demolitions represent a practical implementation of plans aimed at imposing a new Judaization reality and annexing more land, calling on Palestinians to unite and confront the attacks.
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas affirmed that the ongoing Israeli occupation's aggression against towns and camps north of occupied Jerusalem, foremost among them Qalandia camp, will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinians or deterring them from clinging to their land and holy sites. Political bureau member and head of the movement's Jerusalem Affairs Office, Haroun Nasser al-Din, said that the ongoing military operations by the Israeli occupation, accompanied by widespread arrests, house demolitions and vandalism, and turning some into military barracks, along with settler attacks, represent a "practical implementation of plans aimed at imposing a new Judaization reality and annexing more Palestinian land." He added that the escalation of occupation measures in Jerusalem and the West Bank "will only push the Palestinian people to more steadfastness and adherence to the option of resistance, and to defend the city of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque." Nasser al-Din called on Palestinians to strengthen unity and solidarity, confront the attacks of the Israeli army and settlers, and support the people of Jerusalem in facing what he described as the "escalating occupation onslaught," stressing that the city will remain clinging to its Palestinian identity despite occupation policies.
