Hamas: The occupation's confiscation of land in the village of Jayyous is a settlement crime

In a statement on Friday, Hamas said that the criminal occupation's confiscation of vast areas of citizens' land and its persistent attempts to impose new settlement facts and empty the West Bank of its people will not succeed against the steadfastness of our people and their adherence to their land and rights. It warned of the danger of continuing these policies, which take place under international silence, and stressed that escalating land confiscation and settlement expansion will not grant the occupation any legitimacy on our land, nor will it succeed in breaking our people's will and determination to continue their path towards freedom and liberation. It called on our people in the West Bank and Jerusalem to escalate resistance and confront the occupation's settlement plans by all possible means, and also called on the United Nations and the international community to assume their responsibilities and take practical steps to stop the occupation's crimes, settlement, and land confiscation, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law and a challenge to international decisions and positions rejecting settlement.
