A source close to Hamas stated: 'It appears that Hamas has surrendered and agrees to full and unconditional disarmament.' The Peace Council, established at the initiative of US President Donald Trump to govern Gaza, reported that consultations with mediators in Cairo are ongoing. The proposed roadmap includes the complete disarmament of Hamas, destruction of tunnels and military infrastructure.
