Hamas: Katz's call to destroy West Bank camps is 'terrorist' and reveals genocide mentality

The Islamic Resistance Movement 'Hamas' described Israeli occupation Security Minister Israel Katz's call to destroy a new camp in the West Bank and displace its residents as a 'fascist terrorist call,' asserting it reflects the 'genocide and criminal mentality' of Israeli occupation leaders. In a press statement on Tuesday, the movement said Katz's remarks reveal the occupation government's plans for the occupied West Bank, warning of efforts to expand the model of displacing Jenin and Tulkarm camps to include other camps, as part of the 'extreme occupation government's approach.' It added that the killing, terror, and systematic sabotage carried out by the occupation government and its army in West Bank cities and camps 'will not succeed in breaking the resilience of the Palestinian people or deterring them from resisting the occupation.' The movement affirmed that the Palestinian people are 'stronger and more enduring than the occupation's brutality and plans,' calling on the international community, the United Nations, and international judicial institutions to assume their responsibilities and hold occupation leaders accountable for crimes and violations against Palestinians. Hamas called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied interior to unite and escalate confrontation with the occupation and settler groups, and to strengthen resistance at all points of contact. Earlier, Israeli occupation Security Minister Israel Katz called for expanding military operations in the West Bank, including destroying new camps and displacing their residents.
