Hamas: Demolition of Martyrs' Homes Will Not Deter Our People from Clinging to Their Land

A leader of the Hamas movement, Abdul Rahman Shadid, affirmed that the Israeli occupation's policy of demolishing the homes of martyrs and resistance fighters in the West Bank will not deter the Palestinian people from clinging to their land. He considered the demolition of the home of martyr Farouk Ramadan in the village of Tel, southwest of Nablus, an expression of the "criminal occupation's sadism," calling for solidarity and support for the families of the martyrs.

In a press statement on Tuesday, Abdul Rahman Shadid, a leader of the Hamas movement, affirmed that the Israeli occupation's policy of demolishing and destroying the homes of martyrs and resistance fighters in the West Bank will not deter the Palestinian people from clinging to their land and confronting the attacks of settlers and occupation forces. Shadid considered the demolition of the home of martyr Farouk Ramadan in the village of Tel, southwest of Nablus, to reflect the "criminal occupation's sadism" and its use of various means of terrorism and collective punishment against the Palestinian people. He called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to unite and support the families of the martyrs and the owners of destroyed homes, providing them with all possible means of support, embracing them, and strengthening their steadfastness to thwart the occupation's goals behind the policy of demolishing and destroying homes. He stressed that the West Bank is experiencing killing, Judaization, land confiscation, and attempts to displace Palestinians from their villages and towns, which requires unifying ranks, confronting, and remaining steadfast on the land and property. He affirmed the necessity of clinging to Palestinian rights and defending them against the occupation's schemes aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their land and confiscating their property.
