Hamas delegation discusses Gaza negotiations with Turkish Foreign Ministry
A Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan the developments in Gaza negotiations, the escalation of the Israeli occupation, and violations of the ceasefire.
A delegation from the Hamas leadership, headed by political bureau chief Khalil al-Hayya, met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the latest political and field developments related to the Palestinian issue, foremost among them the ongoing negotiations in Cairo. The meeting addressed the escalation of the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, daily violations of the ceasefire agreement, killings and assassinations, settler attacks in the West Bank, and incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance Palestinian unity in light of the plan to hold elections, and al-Hayya expressed appreciation for Turkish efforts to end the suffering of the Palestinian people.
