The incident occurred about two months ago in the Shimshon neighborhood. According to the indictment, Shalom Zaguri, 43, from Ashkelon, drew a pistol and fired at least two bullets at fleeing vehicles after a verbal altercation. Immediately after the shooting, Zaguri hid the loaded pistol in bushes and left. The police conducted an intensive investigation and located him at a guesthouse in the north along with another person. In his possession, mobile phones and SIM cards were seized. He broke down during questioning, and the prosecution filed a serious indictment against him at the Be'er Sheva District Court, including charges of carrying a weapon and shooting in a residential area endangering human life.
