An indictment was filed at the Tel Aviv District Court in Jaffa against Karim Gwa'ba, 18, from Jaffa, for two aggravated robberies that occurred at Davidoff Park in Jaffa within less than 24 hours. According to the indictment, the first incident took place around 1:00 AM about two weeks ago, when a 16-year-old boy was at a birthday party in the park. Gwa'ba and another minor arrived riding electric bikes, each holding an object that appeared to be a real gun. The two demanded the boy hand over his iPhone 13 Pro Max, while pointing a gun at him. After he handed over the phone, they also demanded his passcode, threatening: "We'll rape you and shoot you." The second incident occurred in the same park around midnight, when a 42-year-old man was working out. Gwa'ba and the minor arrived again, pulled out the guns, pushed the complainant to the ground, and Gwa'ba pressed his gun to the man's head. They demanded he hand over his iPhone and unlock it, then ordered him to run away. The complainant jumped over a fence trying to escape, but the two chased him while making threats. During a search of Gwa'ba's home, a toy gun was seized, which he confirmed was used in the acts. The iPhone from the second robbery was found in the possession of another involved party. Gwa'ba initially denied any connection but later confessed to involvement.
