Grenade exploded as a resident and her dog stood behind the door: two young men charged with throwing grenades and setting a car on fire
The Central District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against two young men, aged 21 and 23, from Modi'in, accused of throwing fragmentation and stun grenades at the entrances of residential buildings in Rishon LeZion and Ramat Gan, and setting fire to an SUV in Netanya. According to the indictment, the two acted together, with one of them, Gazit, covering his face with a veil and throwing the grenades, while the other, Bakhar, waited in the car. In one case, a grenade exploded as a resident stood behind the door with her dog. The vehicle was completely burned. The prosecution is requesting to extend their detention until the end of proceedings.

The grenades exploded, causing damage, soot, and smoke. In one case, in Rishon LeZion, Gazit tried to open an entrance door, and when he failed, he threw a grenade at the door, behind which stood a resident with her dog. In addition, the two planned to set fire to an SUV: they filled a plastic bottle with gasoline at a gas station in Lod, drove to Netanya, Gazit donned a veil, set the vehicle on fire, and it was completely burned. The prosecution is requesting to extend their detention until the end of proceedings, and in the detention request, Attorney Steinberg emphasized that the defendants committed serious offenses within a few days, indicating great dangerousness, lack of fear, disregard for human life and property, and access to weapons.
