The Supreme Court rejected the request for an additional hearing in the case of the former Military Advocate General, thereby removing the freeze on handling the case. Justice Daphne Barak-Erez ruled that the requests do not require a response and that they should be dismissed immediately, as no new precedent was established in the ruling that would justify an additional hearing. Following the decision, State Attorney Amit Isman can proceed to a decision in the case against former State Attorney Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi. Barak-Erez added that the decisions of the Minister of Justice concerned the transfer of the Attorney General's duties regarding oversight of the leak investigation, and did not directly address the question of appointing a supervising attorney. She expressed hope that now the completion of the case can be advanced as required by law.
