Dozens of Jewish and Arab protesters gathered at Habima Square in Tel Aviv against Jewish terror in Judea and Samaria. The 'Standing Together' movement accused the government of igniting the West Bank and backing settler militias. The protest was dispersed by police.
Dozens of people, Jews and Arabs, gathered this evening (Tuesday) at Habima Square in Tel Aviv to protest against acts of Jewish terror in Judea and Samaria. The protest, organized by the 'Standing Together' movement, included chants in Hebrew and Arabic against the occupation and for peace. From the 'Standing Together' movement it was stated: "The death government wants to drag us into another front, government ministers seek to ignite the West Bank. The armed settler militias are not a minority nor an exceptional case; they are an arm of the worst government in Israel's history." The protesters marched on a nearby street and police dispersed the protest. In recent days, similar protests have taken place in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Umm al-Fahm. Earlier today, a memorial ceremony was held for Ouda al-Hathalin, who was murdered a year ago by settler gunfire during clashes in the village of Umm al-Khair.
