Gottlieb launches scathing attack on Haskel: 'Liar, everything is for money'
MK Tali Gottlieb sharply attacked MK Sharren Haskel in an interview, calling her a "liar" and accusing her of trying to leave the Right-Wing State Party to extort party funding as a single-member faction. This comes amid a police complaint Haskel filed over alleged flaws in the vote for State Comptroller, in which attorney Michael Ravilo was elected.
MK Tali Gottlieb this morning (Sunday) sharply attacked MK Sharren Haskel in an interview with Dana Ron, calling her a "liar" and claiming that "everything she does is for money." This comes amid a police complaint filed by Haskel regarding alleged legal flaws in the Knesset vote for the position of State Comptroller, in which attorney Michael Ravilo, the coalition's candidate, was elected. Gottlieb claimed that behind Haskel's activities lies an attempt to extort party funds: her resignation, partly due to the events surrounding Ravilo's appointment, is just an excuse to leave Gideon Sa'ar's party, split off, and establish an independent faction to receive funding as a single-member faction. According to her, the motive is not ideological and not related to Ravilo's appointment. As previously published, Haskel claimed she witnessed an instruction for MKs to photograph their vote behind the curtain, filed an affidavit to the High Court, and recently a police complaint. She claimed that even in the repeat voting round, faction members were required to document their vote and show it to the Prime Minister.
