Good news for drivers: First phase of KKL Bridge rehabilitation completed ahead of schedule

The first phase of the KKL Bridge rehabilitation in northern Tel Aviv has been completed ahead of schedule, and the bridge has been opened to traffic from west to east. The works, carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, and Ayalon Highways, include joint replacement and rehabilitation. The next phase will begin on Saturday night, August 22 at 23:30, and will continue until Friday, August 28 at 06:00, with traffic blocked from east to west. Ayalon Highways will remain open, and pedestrians will be able to cross via a safe passage on the southern side.

The first phase of the rehabilitation and maintenance works on the KKL Bridge in northern Tel Aviv has been completed, and the bridge has been opened to traffic from west to east ahead of schedule. The works, carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, and Ayalon Highways Company, are intended to improve the safety of the bridge, which serves thousands of drivers and pedestrians daily. As part of the works, joints on the bridge are being replaced, and rehabilitation and maintenance works are being carried out. With the completion of the first phase, the next phase of the project will begin on the coming Saturday night, August 22 at 23:30, and will continue until Friday, August 28 at 06:00. During the works, traffic on the bridge will be blocked from east to west, but Ayalon Highways (Road 20) will remain open to traffic throughout the entire works period. In addition, a right turn from Ayalon North to KKL Boulevard will be possible, and the entrance to Ayalon North from the KKL Interchange will remain open. Pedestrians will also be able to cross the bridge during the works, via a safe passage on its southern side. Drivers are advised to prepare in advance and stay updated on traffic arrangements through navigation apps and the "Kol Kav" hotline (*8787) regarding public transportation changes.
