"Go serve in the army, then come back to me": Mordechai David fails to rattle Eisenkot

Eisenkot responded with one sentence: "Go serve in the army, then come back to me." David is known for blocking the car of former Supreme Court President Aharon Barak, for a confrontation with actor Tzachi Halevi, husband of journalist Lucy Aharish, and for a publicized clash with broadcaster and former footballer Eyal Berkovich. Last month, the deputy president of the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, Judge Tal Havkin, issued a restraining order against David after he harassed Hadas Klein, the central witness in Case 1000. The order was set for six months, and David was required to pay Klein 4,000 shekels in legal costs. The judge warned that if he repeats similar behavior, more severe sanctions may be imposed. Eisenkot is the leading candidate in the change bloc and received 23 seats and 47% public support for prime minister in a poll published today in Maariv. In recent weeks, Eisenkot has been at the center of media storms following a controversial AI video published by the Likud party, in which he appears in a flower field, seemingly preferring to hug Mansour Abbas over a figure resembling his son, Gal Meir, who fell in Gaza.
