Geert Wilders arrives for condolence visit at Havat Gilad: 'Millions in Europe support you'

Dutch opposition leader Geert Wilders arrived on Monday at Havat Gilad for a condolence visit with the family of Binyahu Malet, a security squad fighter killed on Friday in a terror attack near a settlement in Judea and Samaria. Wilders, who is visiting Israel as a guest of Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan, told the family: 'Millions of people in Europe also support you and feel your pain - you are not alone.' The widow Esther Malet shared: 'When I heard something was happening, I knew 100% that he was there, to help.' She described her husband as a great fighter and devoted father who loved working the land. Dagan said Malet was among the first to run to any incident, and that these families are Israel's security belt. The visit comes against the backdrop of the Netherlands' announcement banning imports of settlement products starting September 22.
