It was also announced that a coalition of eight countries—Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt—will soon present practical steps for implementing the plan. Regarding the US-Iran talks, the Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman outlined the priority—ensuring navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and returning to the pre-war status. In Doha, they are convinced that agreements should be based on regional consensus and international law.
