Gaza Health: 8 Martyrs and 76 Injured in 48 Hours
The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 8 martyrs arrived at hospitals in the sector within 48 hours, including 7 new martyrs and one who died from his wounds, in addition to 76 injuries. It noted that victims are still under the rubble, and that the death toll since the resumption of the aggression on October 11 has reached 1,222 martyrs and 4,053 injuries, while the cumulative toll since October 7, 2023 has risen to 73,349 martyrs and 174,162 injuries.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today that 8 martyrs arrived at hospitals in the sector during the past 48 hours, including 7 new martyrs and one who died from his wounds, along with 76 injuries. The ministry clarified that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them. It noted that since the resumption of the aggression after the ceasefire on October 11, the number of martyrs has reached 1,222, in addition to 4,053 injuries, while 804 bodies have been recovered. The ministry confirmed that the cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has risen to 73,349 martyrs and 174,162 injuries. In a related context, the ministry reported the death of a citizen due to a building collapse, raising the number of victims of building collapse incidents to 33.
