The conference focused on rehabilitating the North after the war, strengthening security and resilience, and developing the economy, employment, and tourism. The Ministry for the Negev and Galilee presented investments of over NIS 1.8 billion for the development and strengthening of the North. Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen said at the conference: 'We toured the nuclear site in Fordow many times to understand the site. The bombing of the site by the Americans - it is the realization of all my dreams. 60 percent of enriched uranium is still far from a bomb.' The conference centered on the future of the North and the connection between security and resilience on the one hand, and growth, tourism, economy, and regional development on the other, as part of the effort to strengthen the Galilee and its residents and bring the North back to the center of the agenda.
