Sarah Dahan, 28, from Sderot, shares her life journey: childhood in boarding schools, a toxic relationship with an older man, young motherhood, and coping with a medical disability (epilepsy) and heavy debts. Sarah Dahan, 28, from Sderot, shares in an extensive interview about her difficult life path. From age 3, she moved between various boarding schools and frameworks, allegedly experienced sexual abuse in a relationship with a man twice her age when she was 15, and became a young mother. She copes with epilepsy, which she claims stems from a stroke she suffered, and debts of hundreds of thousands of shekels that she says were accumulated by her mother. On October 7, 2023, she was in Sderot and hid with her children in bushes for six hours. Her eldest daughter witnessed difficult events near the police station. Today, Dahan is fighting to obtain a more accessible public housing unit on a lower floor, and is trying to start working as a driver.
