Fragmentation grenade thrown at building in Bat Yam: three suspects arrested

A fragmentation grenade was thrown last night at the lobby of a residential building on Yitzhak Sadeh Street in Bat Yam, exploded, and caused damage to the entrance. No injuries were reported. Police received a report of an explosion heard around 3:00 AM, and officers from the Bat Yam station and bomb disposal experts from the Tel Aviv district arrived at the scene, collected evidence, took testimonies, and conducted searches. During searches that extended to the south of the country, officers from the Ashdod station located three suspects, aged 17, 31, and 33, residents of the south, who were traveling in a vehicle seen fleeing the scene. The three were arrested and transferred for questioning at the Bat Yam station. The police are expected to request an extension of their detention in court according to the findings of the investigation.
