Founder of Michal Sela Forum Lili Ben Ami Joins Yisrael Beiteinu

Lili Ben Ami, founder of the Michal Sela Forum and sister of the murdered Michal Sela, announced her joining the Yisrael Beiteinu party and her support for party chairman Avigdor Liberman. Ben Ami is active in preventing domestic violence and enhancing women's security, and promoted with MK Oded Forer a law to revoke guardianship from a convicted parent. She served as a public representative in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, acted as a national explainer, and spoke at the UN.

Lili Ben Ami, founder of the Michal Sela Forum and sister of the murdered Michal Sela, announced today (Tuesday) her joining the Yisrael Beiteinu party and her support for party chairman Avigdor Liberman. Ben Ami established the forum after her sister's murder in 2019, and since then has worked to promote initiatives to prevent domestic violence and develop measures to increase women's personal security. As part of her public activity, she promoted together with MK Oded Forer from Yisrael Beiteinu the law to revoke guardianship from a parent convicted of murder, attempted murder, or rape within the family. In addition, Ben Ami previously served as a public representative in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, acted as a national explainer with the outbreak of the Swords of Iron War, and spoke several times at the UN. She holds a master's degree in education from the Hebrew University. In her announcement, she said she decided to join Yisrael Beiteinu because she sees Liberman as a leader with experience and ability to execute. Yisrael Beiteinu welcomed her joining.
