Former Central Command Chief States: 'Gentlemen, This Is Not a Terror Attack'

Maj. Gen. (res.) Avi Mizrahi, former head of the IDF Central Command, argues in an interview that the incident in Kfar Tel is not a terror attack but an unauthorized entry of settlers into Area A. He warns of the erosion of Central Command forces and the consequences of Israeli violence.

Maj. Gen. (res.) Avi Mizrahi, former head of the IDF Central Command, stated in an interview with 103FM that the incident in Kfar Tel is not a terror attack, but rather an unauthorized entry of settlers into Area A, which requires a commander's approval. According to him, the 'trip' was not coordinated with the IDF, and the media mistakenly calls it an attack. Mizrahi warns of the erosion of Central Command forces, who are left alone facing growing friction in the West Bank, and criticizes the handling of violence by Israelis: hundreds of Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of 2026 not in counterterrorism operations. He emphasizes that the forces are helpless against Israelis, and that the commander has lost the support envelope of the Shin Bet, the Civil Administration, and the Judea and Samaria District.
