For the first time in Israel: The Tayeb Prize for National Resilience awarded to "Daf Hadash" association assisting reserve families in economic recovery

The Tayeb Foundation awarded today (Tuesday) for the first time the Tayeb Prize for National Resilience, a new annual prize intended to honor individuals and organizations contributing to strengthening Israel's national and social resilience. The main prize, of an undisclosed amount, was awarded to the "Daf Hadash" association, which works towards the economic rehabilitation of reserve soldiers' families who have fallen into crisis since the outbreak of the "Swords of Iron" war. The committee, chaired by founder Haim Tayeb and including Prof. Yifat Biton, Prof. Yekutiel (Kuti) Tseva, Prof. Sharon Alroy-Preis, and Sheikh Mohana Fares, selected from over 340 nominations based on public impact, sustained activity, and value-based leadership. The Tayeb Prize for Social Resilience was awarded to Raya Strauss for leadership combining business success with social commitment, and the Tayeb Prize for Public Impact was awarded to singer Shaanan Streett for his contribution to shaping public discourse and promoting tolerance and hope. The foundation's founder, Haim Tayeb, noted that the prize aims to highlight social activism and provide a tailwind for continued growth. The Tayeb Foundation promotes national programs in welfare, education, and leadership in partnership with the government and civil society.
