Analysis of footage from the attack at Sela Ridge, which occurred on Friday between Har Bracha and Havat Gilad, revealed the heroic fight of Binyahu Malet, deputy security coordinator of Havat Gilad, may his memory be blessed. Despite severe wounds to his upper body and a shattered left hand, Binyahu managed to rise from the ground, draw a pistol, and fire at the terrorists who attacked him. The analysis indicates he killed at least one terrorist and wounded two others. Additionally, acts of bravery were documented by a Golani soldier on vacation who was participating in a hike, who eliminated a terrorist and wounded another while avoiding hitting the wounded security coordinator. A reserve soldier returning from Lebanon also fired accurately at a sheikh who had stolen a weapon. Binyahu's widow, Esther, said: "Binyahu was a hero in life and a hero in death" and called for the destruction of the murderers' village of Tel and the cancellation of the Oslo Accords.
