Central Command Chief, Major General Avi Bluth, ordered a complete ban on the entry of Palestinian workers into settlements in Judea and Samaria following the wave of attacks. Construction work will only be permitted outside settlements, with individual security approval.
Following the deadly wave of attacks and the growing security threat, Central Command Chief, Major General Avi Bluth, made a series of dramatic decisions. The focus of the decisions: a complete and sweeping closure of the entry of Palestinian workers to all of the Green Line and to all settlements in Judea and Samaria. Construction work will only be permitted at sites outside settlements, with individual exception approval and tight security clearance. The security establishment and settlements welcome the firm step aimed at restoring deterrence and calm.
