During the night, IDF forces attacked several areas across the Gaza Strip and destroyed five weapons depots belonging to the terrorist organization Hamas. The depots stored Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, anti-tank launchers, ammunition, and additional military equipment. One depot, located near the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, also served, according to the statement, as a hideout for Hamas militants who stored weapons there. The IDF and Shin Bet stated that this constitutes Hamas's use of civilian infrastructure, including medical facilities, for terrorist activity. It was further stated that the weapons were intended for Hamas to carry out terrorist attacks against our forces operating in the area of the yellow line and against Israeli civilians. The IDF said the destruction of the depots was meant to remove the threat.
