The move comes into effect about ten days after the hearing he underwent following suspicions that he used his police connections for the benefit of an entertainment complex in which he was a partner. A day before the hearing, which took place ten days ago, the Police Internal Investigations Department announced it had investigated three police officers, including an intelligence coordinator, on suspicion of assisting and granting police concessions to a nightclub owned by Yoav Eliasi's brother, who was also questioned in this affair. All four were questioned under warning on suspicion of breach of trust. Eliasi said during the hearing: "For three years I gave my all to volunteering as if I were in permanent service, I left my occupations and my family. Under fire, I left my occupations to save human lives."
