Coast District police arrested a lawyer from the Krayot area on suspicion of possessing and trafficking dangerous drugs in large quantities, not for personal use. This was reported to N12 today (Monday). The investigation was opened following proactive operational activity by district officers. During a raid on an apartment in the Krayot area, substances suspected to be hard drugs were seized, weighing several tens of grams, of the types "crystal" and "doctor." The suspect was arrested at his home and transferred for questioning at the Zvulun police station, after which he was jailed. Since his arrest about a week ago, his detention has been extended from time to time according to investigative needs. After an appeal hearing, the court ruled that the suspect would be released to house arrest under restrictive conditions. The investigation into him continues, and police spokespeople noted that upon its conclusion, they intend to file an indictment against him.
