First Lady Sara and Rejuvenated Bibi: New Office of Netanyahu
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office has for the first time distributed edited photos of Benjamin Netanyahu to hide the age gap with his wife. The images, processed with graphic software, come from all events, with authorship attributed to Sara Netanyahu. Previously, only her photos were retouched, which drew mockery.
Ynet columnist Itamar Eichner reports that the Israeli Prime Minister's Office has for the first time begun distributing edited photos of Benjamin Netanyahu. Previously, only photos of his wife Sara were retouched, which sparked jokes about the age gap. Now the prime minister's images are also being processed to make the age difference between 'young Sara' and 'mature spouse' less noticeable. Edited photos come from all events involving the Netanyahu couple, with the authorship of the government press office (LAAM) supplemented by Sara Netanyahu's name. The 'rejuvenation' is not visible in photos from international agencies. On the evening of July 29, the Netanyahus participated in meetings with leaders of the evangelical community, AIPAC, and US senators. Earlier, edited photos of the prime minister's son Yair Netanyahu appeared online, sparking mockery and questions about the limits of Photoshop use.
