A fire broke out today (Saturday) in an open area behind the "Big Fashion" complex in Yarka, and due to strong winds it is spreading toward nearby residential buildings. Many firefighting teams from the Zvulun station are working at the scene in an attempt to stop the spread of the fire and protect the line of houses, and additional forces and water supply vehicles have been dispatched to the scene. The circumstances of the fire's outbreak are being investigated. Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson reported that upon the arrival of the first teams, a fire with a high heat and smoke load was identified, and the firefighters are performing extinguishing and direct protection operations on the buildings until full control is achieved.
