Fines of Thousands of Shekels and Vehicles Taken Off the Road – Drivers Under Fire

Six vehicles were taken off the road due to defects posing a safety threat. A motorcycle with abnormal noise levels was impounded and towed to a impound lot. One driver was summoned for questioning on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. The Central Traffic Police Unit of the Jerusalem District continues its work against dangerous offenders. Over the past week, drivers who posted videos of serious violations on social media were identified. A criminal case was opened against one of them, who drove despite having his license revoked. An indictment and additional sanctions are expected.
