According to Shia media, the fighting involves small arms and artillery. The situation is particularly dangerous because Al-Jawf borders the capital Sanaa, a key Houthi stronghold. Earlier, the Houthis compared Saudi Arabia's actions to those of Israel, calling the kingdom's aggression based on arrogance and misinformation. Saudi coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki confirmed the end of the operation, stating that the targets were objects threatening navigation in the Red Sea. The situation is further complicated by the situation around the Strait of Hormuz, which is being blocked by Iran.
