Fighting for his life: Man, about 60, drowns at Habonim Beach - condition critical

A man in his 60s drowned at Habonim Beach and is in critical condition. MDA teams performed CPR and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

A man in his 60s drowned this afternoon at Habonim Beach and is in critical condition. MDA spokesperson reported that at 4:42 PM a drowning report was received. MDA medics and paramedics provided life-saving treatment and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital in Haifa while performing CPR. The man was pulled from the water without a pulse and not breathing. Medical teams continued CPR during evacuation. Circumstances are being investigated.
