Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the "Zehut" party, who joined Smotrich and the Religious Zionism party, attacks the defense establishment and former Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot in an interview, calling for conquest, expulsion, and settlement in Gaza.
Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the "Zehut" party, who recently joined Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and the "Religious Zionism" party, has set a new political and security target. In an interview with Yonatan Weiss, he declared today (Friday) that he demands to lead the defense establishment and take over the position of Defense Minister in the next government. Feiglin claimed that all his security assessments from the past 30 years have proven correct, and called for conquest, expulsion, and settlement in Gaza. He harshly criticized the security doctrine and the heads of the establishment, accusing that the old concept still runs the IDF. "On October 7, there was no army there," he said. "Progressivism poisoned it to the bone." Feiglin pointed an accusing finger at former Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, accusing him of dismantling the ground forces and sending 100,000 soldiers home.
