Alaa Bassimi, father of 22-year-old Yahya Bassimi, was interviewed this morning on Kan News on Reshet Bet after his son and two cousins, Yazan Odeh (16) and Qassem Odeh (20), were murdered in a car explosion in the Triangle on Sunday. In the interview, he shares his anger and pain over the fact that the young men's bodies were not left for burial: "Burned. That's what angers me. You killed them, you eliminated them, at least leave us the bodies, give us respect." Bassimi describes the night the boys disappeared without anyone noticing, while the family was at a wedding. In the morning, his wife discovered the incident on the phone and realized something was wrong. After a long wait, he contacted the police, who came to the house to investigate and search. Bassimi says his son had started working with him as an electrician and had distanced himself from crime in the village recently, and he tried to protect him as much as he could.
