Father of Haymanot Kasau: 'I beg them to do everything to bring her back'

The father of Haymanot Kasau, who disappeared in February 2024, appealed to the authorities demanding her return. He thanked Lapid for his appeal to Netanyahu to expand resources in the search, and emphasized that his daughter is an Israeli citizen entitled to every effort to save her.

The father of Haymanot Kasau, Tesfaye, spoke emotionally today (Tuesday) demanding that the authorities locate his missing daughter and bring her home. Haymanot was last seen in February 2024, and since then her traces have disappeared. The father referred to the letter of opposition leader Yair Lapid to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he demanded a re-examination of the investigation directions. 'I thank from the bottom of my heart for the appeal to the government to expand resources in the search for Haymanot,' the father said. He added that his daughter was nine years old when she was kidnapped 884 days ago, and that 'she doesn't care about political affiliation, coalition or opposition.' The father emphasized: 'For my daughter, as an Israeli citizen, it is fitting that everything possible be done to save her and bring her home. I ask and beg that there be no side or the other, white or black, but only the right action, which is to do everything so that our future will be rosier.' Lapid demanded in his letter that all state authorities act decisively and with full resources to locate the girl.
