We didn't know about any concrete threats recently." Yushevayev was murdered by a gunshot at point-blank range at a gas station in Caesarea, three days after his 31st birthday. Police are conducting a manhunt for the assassin, who according to footage arrived at the scene with his face exposed while wearing a baseball cap, and in the murder footage Yushevayev is seen exiting a store as the killer turns and shoots him in the back of the head. The possibility that it was a professional hitman hired for the task has not been ruled out. Police suspect the assassin wore a realistic mask. The court granted the family's request and denied the police's request to perform an autopsy on his body.
