Extravagant Policy Using Public Funds: PM's Residence Expenses Revealed

The Movement for Freedom of Information has disclosed the expenses of the Prime Minister's residences for 2025 and the first half of 2026. In 2025, expenses totaled approximately 1.98 million NIS, and in the first half of 2026, about 731,000 NIS. Items include food purchases, gardening in Caesarea, Wolft deliveries, replacing a bathtub on Gaza Street, and a sum of 63,000 NIS that was completely blacked out.

The Movement for Freedom of Information today revealed the expenses of the Prime Minister's residences for 2025 and the first half of 2026. In 2025, expenses totaled approximately 1,979,517 NIS, and in the first half of 2026, about 731,081 NIS. Notable items include: food purchases (165,444 NIS in 2025, 53,584 NIS in 2026), gardening in Caesarea (94,957 NIS), Wolft deliveries in August 2025 alone (2,700 NIS), replacing a bathtub at the residence on Gaza Street (14,986 NIS), and electricity expenses (31,509 NIS). A sum of 63,033 NIS was completely blacked out without specifying the supplier or expense title. The movement's director, attorney Hidi Negev, said that this is an "extravagant policy using public funds" and that the information deserves to be published proactively and not only following court petitions.
