Explosive Device and Remote Detonation: Murder Indictment Against Yossi Asor

A serious indictment was filed at the Nazareth-Nof HaGalil District Court against Yosef (Yossi) Asor, 38, from Migdal HaEmek, charging him with the aggravated murder of Ovanch Dinko, 29, from Afula. According to the indictment, the motive for the murder is a conflict between local crime organizations. Asor planned the assassination for about two weeks: he conducted preliminary reconnaissance near Dinko's home, attached an explosive device to the family's Hyundai car, and on the morning of May 26, when Dinko returned home, detonated the device remotely. The explosion caused his death at the scene. Additionally, Asor is charged with weapons offenses and receiving a stolen vehicle. He has 12 prior convictions for drug offenses, violence, weapons, property, extortion by threats, robbery, theft, arson, and driving without a license. The prosecution requests his detention until the end of proceedings. His defense attorney, Doron Noy, stated that Asor denies any connection to the murder.
