Ex-CIA Official Reveals Putin's Biggest Fear

Former senior CIA officer Glenn Carle stated on the 'News.LIVE' project that Vladimir Putin's biggest fear is social destabilization in Russia's major cities if a new wave of mobilization is announced. According to him, Russia's military-industrial complex cannot provide hundreds of thousands of new soldiers with heavy weapons, equipment, and gear. Carle believes the Kremlin deliberately avoids conscripting residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other megacities, fearing protests. Instead, the burden falls on remote regions, ethnic minorities, as well as the recruitment of foreign mercenaries and the use of North Korean troops. The expert emphasizes that mobilization is inevitable but carries risks for the authorities.
