According to Bushinsky, the meeting was politically beneficial for Netanyahu, who uses personal ties with American presidents as his main argument. However, Bushinsky doubted that the meeting was necessary for Trump, noting that Trump is trying to distance himself from the impression that Netanyahu dictates his actions. Bushinsky also stated that Netanyahu soberly assesses his position and is not overconfident: if polls show no chance of victory, he may withdraw from the election. In Bushinsky's assessment, Netanyahu considers a political tie possible, which for him is almost a victory. Additionally, Bushinsky commented on changes to the Likud charter, calling them politically risky, and noted that Netanyahu's task now is to attract candidates who can bring votes from other blocs.
