Estonia has been named the best country in the world for relocation in 2026 by consulting firm Rumavi, surpassing Singapore, Malaysia, and Portugal. Israel ranked 65th out of 192 countries. The ranking evaluated 192 countries across 24 indicators, including cost of living, taxes, healthcare, and safety. Estonia scored 72.8 points, while Singapore scored 72.6. Israel received 63.9 points, with strengths in its startup environment and digital infrastructure, but weaknesses in safety and cost of living.

Consulting firm Rumavi has published its global relocation index for 2026, evaluating 192 countries across 24 indicators, including cost of living, taxation, healthcare, safety, and settlement opportunities. Estonia was named the best country to move to, scoring 72.8 points and edging out Singapore (72.6) by just two-tenths of a point. Malaysia and Portugal took third and fourth places. Estonia also ranked first for families and second for entrepreneurs, as well as fifth for its tax system and sixth for digital nomads. Among the country's strengths are its banking infrastructure (98.9) and business opportunities (96). Israel ranked 65th with an overall score of 63.9, showing high marks for its startup environment (94.3) and digital infrastructure (89.5), but low marks for the risk of armed conflict (11) and cost of living (33.9). Israel's best position was 39th in the ranking for entrepreneurs, and its worst was 116th for retirees.
