Employment stability and benefits for 220 workers in the Negev: collective agreement at Haifa Negev Technologies

A new collective agreement was signed between representatives of the Histadrut, the workers, and the management of Haifa Negev Technologies, a company that produces fertilizers and agricultural products, with its plant located in the Mishor Rotem industrial zone. The agreement covers 220 workers and ensures employment stability, promotes professional development, and maintains the workforce. It provides wage increases and benefits, increases the welfare budget, and expands activities and benefits for workers and their families. Rom Dvir, chairman of the Hotel, Chemistry, and Agriculture Workers' Union in the Histadrut, said the agreement gives workers security and stability and continues to strengthen labor relations while balancing the company's needs and workers' rights. Yehuda Peretz, chairman of the workers' committee, called the day "significant" and promised continued efforts to improve employment conditions. Itzik Nefesh, acting head of the Negev Central region, welcomed the cooperation. The negotiations were led by the workers' committee, attorney Afik Maler, Tomer Martziano, and attorney Yael Shiloni.
