Employment Service to Help Recruit Thousands for Election Day Work

The Employment Service and the Central Elections Committee have agreed to cooperate in recruiting thousands of workers for election day, including ushers, logistics personnel, and technical support, also from among job seekers registered with the service.

The Employment Service and the Central Elections Committee have agreed to enhance cooperation to recruit and place thousands of job seekers in positions for election day and the election period. Employment Service Director General Einaval Mashash and Acting Director General of the Central Elections Committee, Adv. Dean Livneh, met this week and agreed that the Employment Service will assist the committee in recruitment and placement. In about a week, the recruitment process will begin for workers, including ushers, logistics personnel, technical support, and more, also from among job seekers registered with the service. Recruitment will be conducted through various means, including a dedicated website to be set up and managed jointly. It was also agreed to ensure adequate representation, including for people with disabilities, with an emphasis on wounded IDF soldiers and those evacuated from their homes during the war. Mashash said the cooperation is an opportunity to connect a significant national need with thousands of job seekers. Livneh said the cooperation is a significant component in the national effort to recruit tens of thousands of workers for polling committees.
